CANDLE CARE & SAFETY
Candle Care & Safety
- Always set your candle on a flat, non-flammable surface.
- Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours.
- Your first burn is the most important. Allow your candle to burn for 2-3 hours with the goal of letting as much of the wax melt to the edge of the vessel.
- Keep your candle away from drafty areas. You should never leave a candle burning where a fan or draft is able to move the flame.
- Stop burning your candle when you have ½ inch of wax remaining. When the flame gets too close to the bottom of the vessel, it could cause your vessel to crack.
- Never leave a candle burning unattended.
- Your candle vessel may be hot when lit.
As long as you are burning your candles properly, you will have the most out of your candles and will not damage your vessel. Follow the directions on the safety label and candle care card.
